" GO! You have to LIVE!

Know where the ERs are and how to get to them. You cannot wait to get back if you relapse. Take your old meds with you and bring CD copies of your CT scans so they will not force you to get more CAT Scans to prove you have this disease before they will give you meds.

You are extremely unlikely to perf, even though the ERs will want to scan the heck out of you to cover themselves.

Stop eating at the earliest sign of relapse.

" GO! HAVE FUN! Don't let this disease ruin your life. I have gone on trips and needed to go to the ER. Once at the ER the nurse asked if I needed a wheelchair to get to the restroom. I told her no they are for sick people to which she replied that I was the sickest one there! The point being that attitude means alot. If you sit around waiting to be sick it probably won't take long! "

" thanks everyone. it is so nice to have other people to talk too who are acutally going through this also. so vegas here i come. don't know how much fun that will be without all the good food and i am really missing my corona. i know that sounds selfish when others are still in pain but i used to love a beer at the end of the day. finished my antibiotics yesterday. will ask the doctor for some to take with me although when i tell him that i have decided to wait for the surgery he may not prescribe them. thanks for all the positive comments. am feeling better than i have in a month today. afraid to be exicted about that. lol

" Hi Rhonda, Since you are going away I'll bet he will give you scripts to take. When I saw a GI Dr yesterday, he too suggested I speak to a surgeon, but I am hoping this will clear up and I won't need surgery. I have a friend that had a diver attack 8 years ago and nothing since! Who knows?! "

" Hi Rhonda, So glad you survived Las Vegas! I checked out the Aloe elite on line and it is so expensive.. I have been taking Aloe liquid and hope it helps me. (Along with other "holistic" things.) I am still in "recovery" mode, but every day I get cramps and exhaustion.. this must go with the disease.. "
