Advice:
Weak and no appetite after diverticulitis?

I was hospitalized for 10 days with severe diverticulitis. Only IV's and clear liquids until two weeks ago. Now, I don't ever feel hungry, but I feel weak all the time, like I can't get out of bed! I know I have to eat to feel stronger, but I have to force myself. Is it normal to feel this way after a diverticulitis attack? I got out of the hospital 3 weeks ago, and although I don't have pain anymore, I feel awful!

" This is 100% normal. Try to eat small low fiber meals and slowly over the next few weeks increase your fiber. Check out the mayo clinic website for low residue diet ideas. I took a month to feel 1/2 way normal. It's hard to keep up your strength but you must. "
