Hello,

I am a newbie to this Fitness Goals support group. I am currently working on quitting smoking and doing great!!
Two weeks, one day, 12 hours, 23 minutes and 54 seconds. 232 cigarettes not smoked, saving $40.73. Life saved: 19 hours, 20 minutes.

I am a member of the local 24 hour fitness and used to go about three times a week but lost motivation due to not much weight loss or strength gain and assume it is due to my diet. I am a fast food junkie and need help!!
I have been playing online and found sites like:
www.weightwatchers.com/men/
www.changeone.com

I am single guy who does not like to cook much but would if I had help with it and end up just snacking all night on stuff around the house without eating a good dinner.

Any thoughts on the online diet / fitness plans??
They worth the money?

I just have never really been taught on "how" to eat right and am looking for help. Counting calories and all of the percentage mumbo jumbo goes over my head quickly!!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and guidance!!

" Why dont you try www.calorieking.com, it doesnt cost you any money, they can work out a menu that suits your lifestyle and count the calories for you. You have to enter information into there food finder but it doesnt cost you anything but time. Good luck. "

" Two sites that have been helpful for me are www.healthylivingonline.com andediets.com." title="http://www.ediets.com." target="_blank"> www.ediets.com. The first is free, the second you have to pay for, but I've had success with both (more so with healthylivingonline, though). Good luck! "

" Weight Watchers really works, especially for guys. When I was a member, I would lose 4 pounds and the men would lose 7-8 pounds and got to goal way sooner than us women. The menus are written out for you in the beginning and it's easy to count points. Also a very healthy diet (they call it a life style change). Highly recommended. Good luck and congrats on quitting smoking. That's a far greater challenge than losing weight. "
