Please join in our weekly weigh-in. We are into the last few days of August and it looks like most of us have had a good month. Great job everyone!

Share your weekly weigh-in once a week either from your weigh-in day last week or this coming week. If you feel uncomfortable posting your actual weight just post the pounds lost or gained.

As for myself - I dropped the ball on my exercise this week and this coming week is vacation. I am going to have to be on my guard with what food and exercise.

Weekly Tip: Plan meals and snacks around healthful foods

You can eat only as healthfully as your last trip to the grocery store. Do a cart check before you get in line. About 50% of your purchases should be produce, about 25% whole grains and 25% lean protein and low-fat dairy foods, she says. Keep the fruits and vegetables at eye level in your fridge or on the counter. If you open your fridge and see colorful vegetables, you will be more likely to reach in and grab them.

" down 1 lb. Now 149. Still have aways to go to goal---120. I would love to lose weight without changing anything, as I love my ice cream and sweets. Anyway will try for 1 lb a week. Hopefully, that won't be too hard....

Sure is some great weight loss on this site....I wish I could get more motivated.
