I saw Dr. Oz and he said green coffee bean extract is good for losing weight. Has anyone tried this? I am progressing on changing cues and walking ! Yeah!

" I don't believe that there are any magic weight loss foods. I hold fast to the idea of "calories in, calories burned" where we have to eat less and exercise more.

Now I do believe that some foods have a better nutritional balance, and in turn can make it easier to lose weight.

There are also some foods that are really bad for diets, like drinks that have 100s of calories from sugars.

But if you want to look into it, by all means do. There may be something to it! "

" I guess it's the old "bail me out" way of thinking. You're right, and I've really been just trying to eat better. "

" I don't. I have been really trying hard to eat several tiny meals to keep the blood sugar level and it seems to be working. I am avoiding scales and just concentrating on changing habits.Good luck! "

" I recently bought the green coffee bean extract pills (pure) and
before that I tried the white bean extract. I didn't lose weight with the white bean extract and I haven't taken the green coffee bean extract enough to say for certain whether I think it helped me.

Nothing works for me except getting off sugar. After 4 or 5 days without it, I am beginning to feel better and not crave it, but it's so difficult to get thru those 4 or 5 days.

One of the best ideas I've seen is 1/2 your plate with salad or vegetables, the other side, a carb and a protein. Especially good plan for Type 2 Diabetes. "

" Here's an article about this from March of 2012:

http://articles.latimes.com/2012/ma...

Note that the study that showed promising results was really small, only 16 people, the subjects were "young" people, the study was conducted in India, and it was paid for by a company that manufactures green coffee bean extract. I hope anyone thinking about using this extract will proceed really carefully. "
