My name is Katie and I'm 23.

I haven't always battled with weight, not until I hit my teenage years. I then developed an eating disorder and got to my ideal weight and maintained it for 2 years until I experienced some trauma. I then experience some mental health issues and was placed on medication. Well I went from 140 pounds to 330 pounds within two years.

Since January of this year I've lost 31 pounds, 11 pounds in the last two weeks as I've begun to take this seriously. I joined a gym and workout twice a day for two hours, I attend a Zumba class once a week and watch everything I eat. My mother did WW in the past so I'm doing a WW type diet which is working.

I am setting small goals because my final goal is to get to 130 pounds. So my first goal is to get to 230 pounds.

Anyway, I'm just looking to join in here and to find support through my weight loss journey, I use to be athletic and I want the athletic me back.

" Thanks LittleMac! It was so hard when these meds put so much weight on, I am still on these medications, but I decided it was time to take action no matter how hard it may be. "
