Hi,
I have been on phentermine since May. I have also been on many other medications by the same doctor. I have been having terrible side effects and I had a friend who is a nurse notice I was prescribed two 37.5mg phentermine 3 times a day. So, I was having a total of six 37.5 mg pills a day. She thought the recommended dosage was two a day morning and afternoon and perhaps my problems are from way too much phentermine. I can't seem to find only where it indicates recommended dosage so I was wondering if anyone has taken this medication and can share what the dosage prescribed was. I am currently on it and I only take one 30mg capsule per day. I have never heard of anyone taking that much, I would definitiely check with your dr and or your pharmacist. This med can increase your heart rate and your blood pressure, so I would advise u to be very careful.

I was put on this medication yesterday and was told to start with 1 pill a day. If needed to take 2, one in the morning and 1 in early afternoon. I would take what dose does the trick for you, my Dr. tells me to play with the dose as it affects everyone differently and I am very sensitive to the medication. I was taking Phendametrazine before and was cranky and depressed a few hours after taking them. Good Luck!

one or two a day is what is prescribed max. I have never heard of anybody taking that much! You need to read up on that or have second opinions or something.
