" A lot depends on how much you need to lose...if you need to lose 100 pounds then perhaps 1-2# a week would be healthy. If you need to lose 30 pounds then .5 - 1# would be healthy. "

" Hi there, I work for a Curves franchise and I'm a fitness instructor and now doing a weight management class.

The first week of dieting you will be losing about 5 to 7 lbs of water weight. There after you should lose about 2 lbs a month. Remember guys you don't want to crash diet because you will end up failing in the end. Not only that you will be losing more muscle tissue than you would be body fat. If any of you are interested I would like to be of help. Please don't hesitate to add me as a friend. I would love to share with you all that I learned. "

" It all depends on how much you have to lose. when you get close to your goal..5 to 1 lb is a lot when you need to lose 100 lbs it come off a little easier. But it will vary from week to week don't concentrate on the scale so much as the measurements and how you feel . is your energy levels better? Are you sleeping well? hows your Blood pressure those kinds of things are more important than what the scale says! "
