I AM NOW TAKEING A HEART HEALTHY VITAMIN,TWICE A DAY AS DIRECTED ON THE BOTTLE.THEN I HEARD B12 HELPS WITH ENERGY SO I BOUGHT THEM.THE B12 DOESNT SPECIFY HOW MANY TO TAKE.IS IT ALRIGHT TO MIX VITAMINS??DOES ANYONE ELSE TAKE B12?IF SO HOW MANY A DAY AND HOW LONG DO THEY TAKE TO NOTICE A DIFFERENCE.I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY INPUT..THANKS

All B vitamins work best when they are working as a team. B12 should be part of any multi vitamin or B complex vitamin. You are probably not deficent in Vitamin B 12 so you won't notice a huge difference in energy.
You might try Ashwagandha or Siberian Ginseng for energy.

Have your doc check you for vitamin D deficiency. My doc has me on a high dose and I have noticed a big difference. I have more energy, clearer thinking, and notice that the little things that used to bother me, don't anymore. It has just made a world of difference to me. I think that everyone should be check for vit D.

Vitamin D deficency is a very hot topic right now with alot of health issues. I have RA and it also has been linked to Vitamin D. I know thats not my problem. I live in high elevation with 350 days of sunshine west of Los Angles. I have always worked outdoors and get daily sunshine. I take calicium with with Vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 is absorbed better than other vitamin D. Cod liver oil has high levels of the omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, and very high levels of vitamin A, vitamin D and vitamin E. I only take it every other day because of the high levels of vitamin A is in a form I don't want daily. I prefer beta-carotene for my vitamin A.
I was thinking of others things that I like for energy. What I think works best for me is medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). Like organic coconut oil, which contains MCTs with powerful antimicrobial effects, and powerful antioxidants. The MCTs in the coconut oil are used directly by our cells as an energy source without increasing fat deposits. I buy it is a healthy oil blend at my health food store (Udo's oil).
