So, My husband has been super healthy his whole life.. (53) 2 years ago he lost his appetite and about 20 pds in a month.. I forced him to go the dr.. and he had kidney failure... The specialist said it was brought on by advil!!! He had the flu a month earlier and had a taken advil... He had taken it exactly as the label said for 2 days.. That was all it took.... BTW.. he has no history of any kind... The dr. said " The worst time to take advil is when you are sick"
So I am sticking with tylenol..

" Yes it is for pain Chip - good to catch up with you BTW - long time.

But like all pain meds it does need to taken with caution.

I do not really have an answer for that question Arline - But even if it did work for me I would not take it after reading this post - I still have some in the house and I will be disposing of them as soon as I am able to do so. "
