Did you know, taking medications like Tylenol or others that contain acetaminophen can cause your blood sugar to spike? If you find it necessary to take a pain reliever, fever reducer or other medication that contains this substance, be sure to monitor your blood glucose extra carefully and report any changes to your doctor.

that's kinda strange - my dr said tylenol is perfectly safe for a diabetic and I have never noticed a spike in BS after taking it.

OMG...this is dispensing medical advice outright. Many people depend upon tylenol for pain, recommended by their doctor. And this will scare them to death. Is this support????

My doctor and pharmacist told me that aspirin and many other pain meds lower your sugar levels.
Think I might just his and the pharmacists word for it.
