When I was dx as T2 this past July, my A1C was 12.5. I went to my Endocrinologist this past Monday and I'm happy to report that it is now 6.5. I was really pleased about it, but left feeling a little down. Why? Cause I just hate being diabetic. Ugh.

My latest A1C was 7 but that's been a couple of months ago, Has anyone used any of the home test kits? What do you think?

I don't use them, but you should be going every three months for your bloodwork from your Doc so why spend money on kits?
Do you walk at all? Your numbers will come down if they don't stop lowering the scale... I wonder who is charge of lowering it...probably a big pharm company...money, money
