support groups are great.

firstly, 165-200 is not overboard. Secondly, the meaning of support is to lift up as in a bra.

There are many things that can contribute to eye problems, diabetes is only one of them and you seem to have that under pretty good control so it's time to look at other problems...just don't put it off, wiht some eye problems waiting can be very serious.

I am on BP meds that have vision problems as possible side effects - could it be something like that which is causing your problems?

If you are worried try some cool compresses on your eyes and see if that helps and if it gets worse go to the ER.

Hath - she said it started when she started her BP med so possibly that's it.

Thank you, I read your post on the alzheimers board... My mom and I are caring for my 85 year old dad.... He is diabetic and has alzheimers..

Just wanted to add here that whenever my husband's eyesight is affected (he can't see enough to drive) his sugar levels are usually in the high 300's.
If you are testing and your levels are good....think you are right to be looking at other changes.
