Does anyone else on here take Januvia? I have been taking it a week, and developed a cough, sore chest and throat and ulcers have started on my tongue.
Is this just a side effect that will pass? I have read bad things about Januvia too. I dont know what the truth is anymore

" According to the Januvia insert, sore throat and mouth sores are common. It also suggests that if you experience any of these symptoms you should "stop taking JANUVIA and call your doctor right away." "

Also, you are encouraged to report negative side effects of prescription drugs to the FDA. Visit www.fda.gov/medwatch, or call 1-800-FDA-1088.

This is according to the Januvia website. " thanks sockFuzz. I did stop taking the Januvia as soon as I learned about the risk of cancer. The mouth sores are growing in number even after 4 days of not taking the med. I can't get an appointment with my doc but will report the symptoms I have to the link you posted.. thanks again. :) "
