Next week I am starting "Symlin"...wanted to see if anyone else has used it. If so...what was your treatment like ???

" I was on symlin for 3 months and had to stop taking it. I ended up with my blood sugar going higher than before. After being on it for a month I began having diahreea. I did lose 15 pounds. My doctor took me off of it and put me on actos. The diarheea stopped and my sugars went down quite a bit. i also take metformin and insulin. i was able to cut down on the insulin also. i guess it wasnt for me. Good luck!
