I am 34 and just found out 2 months ago that U have type 1. Its scary to me and cant seem to find others my age who came down with it. Its either as kids or when older. My body is going through alot and my stress level is superhigh!

I know that you are scared...and it's not exactly the diagnosis anyone wants to get, but it will not always "be scary." Just take it a day at a time, and learn as much as you can about your carb. intake. Just remember that most carbs turn to sugar...so learn how to count them. Most people tell me I am a horrible diabetic....but they are not diabetics, so they don't know how to deal with it. Are you on insulin or medicatin? Try to keep your stress-level in check...and remember you are not alone in this. Make sure you have a glucose meter and check your blood sugar regularly...this will help you stay in control. This is my first time on this site....and I think I'm gonna like it here...it helps to know someone out there knows what your facing. Remember.....a day at a time!
