Cute Med Alert bracelets

For the longest time, I didn't wear any sort of med alert jewelry because I couldn't find one I liked at an affordable price. Now I wear a bracelet that I made myself. It's a simple beaded design with easy to read letter beads.
I've recently decided to start making and selling these bracelets to others. Would anyone be interested in something like this? Posted on 06/26/09, 01:06 am |

I definetely would be interested in them, but one thing... with medic alert, you have a card that you carry in your wallet that gives more information and a number that can be called for detailed information. I dont think all that I have would fit on a cute bracelet. Would be nice though :)

I might be interested. I guess really these type of bracelets are designed for paramedics in case of emergency so would not need loads of details. Having something that just said 'type 1 diabetic' would be more helpful than having nothing at all, which is my current situation. I have looked at a few companies but the ones you describe, Goldilox, are very expensive. I have been looking for some alternative to them. I am in the Uk though so I don't know about postage costs.

Yes, Lizzie, I know they are expensive, but if you dont have all your information, you cant be helped. I have more than diabetes, so I would have to have a pretty big bracelet or a card or something. Sometimes, you just have to pay the price. Someday it just might be worth it.
