After reading all the posts here I am amazed at the high cost of your test strips. Here they are subsidised by the government and a packet of 50 strips costs AUD$7.10. If you are a low income earner or have a concession then you pay only AUD$1.10 or if you have a pension card then you only pay AUD$0.60. Thank goodness we have this subsidy here as I test at least 8 times a day.

My daughter is 2 and we test 4 times a day more if she is really high ... its hard because she can't tell us if shes feeling high or low
