Depression - Teen Support Group

i actually missed my DS aniversery on October 18 so today will have to do.
i just wanted to give a shout out to ALL of my DS friends. you guys really saved me from myself. ive come a LONG way!!

this was the first group i joined. i was referred to this site off of Yahoo Answers. i was scared to tell my story but i couldnt hold it in anymore. i was molested and ive now accepted that. yeah i wish i could go back and change that, but right now im happy with who i am. i was alone, scared, sad and had no idea wut to do with myself. i came on here hoping to find some people just like me. i found that and more. i went through stages some got so bad as to where i had panic attcks and even went to cutting myself.

i am now at a point where im not afraid of tomorrow. in fact im ready to take tomorrow head on. i dont feel ugly or stupid all the time. of course i do sometimes but at least its not 24/7. i have found a place where i felt like i belonged. it supported me and i can see that all too clearly now.

my advice to all of you is to not be afraid to let people in. dont be afraid to tell your story. thats what we're all here for. i can never thank you guys enough! feel free to respnd to this in any way- i will greatly apreciate anything you decide to say. i love you guys and dont you EVER EVER EVER give up hope.
