Depression is a really horrible thing isn't it? It causes so much hurt and pain. It can hurt relationships and friendships. It can make grades suffer and cause jobs to be loss. It can be life-ruining. It sucks, I know. But...we can't just let it ruin us, we all have to be strong and fight back. I've been depressed basically my whole life, and I have wanted to give up and end it all so many times, but I'm still here. And if you are reading this, then you are still here too and that is good. You are still here for a reason. So if you are struggling today, just hang in there a little longer. Keep your head up and smile because one day, as untrue as this may seem, it will get better :)

" I appreciate this being an understanding post, rather than one of the ones that says, "God is with you, suicide is not the answer," or something like that, no offense, but those are too unrealistic to me. Thanks for posting this, it does make me think about the future a bit, even if I don't see hope for it now, there is a glimmer of it somewhere hiding in my mind. "
