I need help with serious depression.

I'm seriously depressed. When one of my friends died a couple of years back, I went into a downhill spiral. I became an addict (which I got over), I started crying myself to sleep (which I still do), and got in with the wrong crowds. I really need help. I probably sound like every other person on this site. Right now, I'm barely getting by in my classes, and I'm emotionally unstable, like I have terrible mood shifts, and people are getting hit in the crossfire. Even the smallest thing can send me into an unstable sob and rocking. I've had drug testing, and a shrink all in which failed, and need help.

Have you spoke to your parents about needing help? Reach out to people around you for help. Also, think about how you can help others around you... Sometimes a best remedy for depression is to focus on helping others... you might just start to feel better yourself.
