My son has been what seems very depressed and full of rage for quite a while now. Hes 12 and i know they have hormones racing around their body at this age but he seems worse than i expected it to be.
I have an appointment with my doctor about him in the morning as i spoke to her before christmas and she said to bring him to see her. I am unsure of what it is she will discuss with him and are there any questions i should ask her? What should i expect from speaking to her? I am in the UK so unsure if things work any differently here but i really feel i needed to do something to try and help him. Its affecting my relationship with him and his younger sister is getting caught up in his rages all the time and i worry that sometimes he will go too far. I am just worried and scared about what will happen and will this reflect badly on me as a parent? I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for the past year and i am starting to feel very guilty that this is my fault. Also his dad and i are divorced and whilst we still maintain a great relationship (most of the time) i worry thats affected him also. Sorry for waffling, i just needed to get it off my chest and ask for some advice too. Posted on 01/01/08, 03:01 pm |
