I personally like to see tattoos on men and woman but not too many and its nice to know you can cover them if needed!

" She was no marine back from the philippines
She was their pride and joy, their incarnation
Her parents viewed the chief with shock and disbelief
Looking for some other explanation

The indian on her back was poised for an attack
She said a tattoo is a badge of validation
But the truth of the matter is far more revealing
Its a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling

Permanent reminder
Of a temporary feeling
Amnesiac episodes that never go away
Its no complex memento - its not set of revealing
Just a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling

Chromosomes and genes
Spawn these fateful scenes
Evolution can be mean
Theres no dumbass vaccine
Blame your dna
You're a victim of your fate
Its human nature to miscalculate "

" Well I think tats in moderation are ok and like you say where they can be covered up is fine, I had my first tat last year at the age of 50! my theory was if I didn't like it then I wont have to put up with it for that long lol but I plan to get some more now but while I was there some geezer came in to the tat shop and his face was covered in them! thats not such good idea. " I have three that all have meaning, no regrets.
My first in particular-
I got a guardian angel on my ankle when my nanny was diagnosed with cancer - then she went into remission, when she passed I had her initials put beside it.

The other two : a faerie I designed and and orthodox cross. "

" I have 2...a celtic rose on my shoulder blade and a dragon clutching a celtic eye on my left upper arm. I'm yet to add the final one which will be a traditional Hawaiian armband with my mother's name in it. "
