" this medication helped me with my situation more than any other i have taken.. it eased all my panic attacks and made me able to relax and rest without horrible anxiety.. i need to go back to my doctor and get another prescription. it may be addictive if taken a long time but it certainly helped me. my panic attacks have eased up a lot so i have not been back to get more. " OMG - really, normally i'm against taking meds (although lord knows i've taken enough) - but THIS... WOW!

i was actually avoiding it (although my psych kept "subtly" hinting at it) because it's addictive while SSRIs and SNRIs aren't - so i've been sticking with those... but wow!!! - i noticed a difference on the first day. "

" if it is a benzo it will have an immediate effect but be careful, coming off these after only a few weeks is hellish. "

" I agree- it's good stuff! But be carefull with it. I've managed to save up like 500 of them in case they stop me getting it. Was getting 120-.5 mg. pills/month till I told him I didn't take them that much. I was prescribed 4/day, but I only take maybe 12 a week. So now I get 75/month which still is more than I take "

" I take lorazepam which is in the same family. Ninety is a lot! I'm only allowed 30 at at time. I have to take them everyday. My pdoc feels they are needed with my severe anxiety. I also take Seroquel for anxiety.

I know some doctors don't agree with taking them because they are addictive (my family doctor for one), but I disagree with doctors who says ADs aren't addictive. Some of the ADs I've been on have just as bad withdrawl symptoms as benzos. Paxil being one of them. "
