Don't know if it's the depression, or the meds, or a combination, but I have no feelings. I can't laugh, I can't cry, I feel no sorrow, no remorse. I feel nothing. I have no fear of dying anymore. I have no fear of anything. Someone could hold a gun up to my head right now, I don't care, shoot me. Why am I feeling like this?

Thank-you. I just feel like giving up. I don't want to, but I CAN NOT stand feeling like this anymore. I don't care about anything, not even my own life. That's depressing in itself. How does someone overcome this? People tell me to quit being so negative, you have to think more positive...I am freakin trying, it's not that easy!!

Trying is huge! in my opinion trying is the most important part, Ive been trying too and Im not there yet either so Im running with that !
I tell myself if i give up i let them win (whoever the hell "them" is ) and they dont deserve to win....i dont know im rambling now :)

have you felt this way before? any med changes? i know some meds ive tried have made me feel very zombie like. i couldnt cry though thoughts would still enter my head that made me feel that way. i was kinda in a stare mode guess youd say. and of course its a strange feeling. past the meds being a player in it, when ive felt at my most hopeless and not wanting to go on any longer, ive gotten that way too, almost emotionless.
think id try and chat with your doc about this as soon as you can, see if maybe some alteration in meds might help. if you do feel the meds may have something to do with it, cut your dose back a bit and see if you feel better. hope you feel better.

ill bet that has alot to do with it. also celexa is one that made me feel zombie like. i didnt care for that med at all. maybe it will work on you, but ive known others that complained of it leaving them tired and in a dont care frame of mind. if you find its not helping you might ask them to add wellbutin to your meds. it sometimes helps when used in a combo like that.
its very frustrating find the right meds. 20 some later im still looking, but now at alternatives to regular antidepressants. read up on the other med choice you have, so you can discuss them with the doc should celexa not work. take care

i feel that way from time to time...usually when depression is high i hope you feel better really soon, i would contact dr. about this incase it is the med. change
