i am wondering if my bi-polar incidents affevt my fibromylgia. when on a high i feel realllly good and have more energy and less pain and need fewer pain pills. when iam on the low i am in more pain and need more meds. i started a new diet 6 weeks ago for fibromyalgia and seems to works with these same highs and lows. has anyone else dealt with this.having been diagnoised only 2 years ago with bi-polar i'm still learning to recognize the moods. i know i had the bi-polar longbefore it was diagnoised but did not know what it was.

" as far as your fibro being worse when you are low that makes sense, if you feel extremely stressed and anxious during that time. as the adrenal are affected by extreme stress and this alone can cause weakness and an overall tired feeling with no energy. have you had your hormones checked, if the adrenals are in a fatigued state it can throw off the stability of everything else. i would look into that aspect of it if i were you. best wishes. " no, but here is a thought... well being and a general feeling of goodness will always affect your mind body and soul... they all work together, so when you are "UP" your mind tells your body its all "good" and the body responds... but when you are "down" your body gets the message... things aint so great and responds...

Keeping that mind take all the health precautions with diet and rest and even meds as needed to keep your spirit and mind and body on that positive side.

Remember they do so laughter is the best nedicine! "
