just wondered what others are thinking about, what the little voice in your head is saying, as we sit here reading and responding to various threads. of course it may jump around some.

me, i usually have the same negative chorus going despite my trying to cope, and help others with positive advice. guess thats always how it is though, being better able to help others, trying to give sound logical advice, but not being very good at implementing it into ones own life. of course i think it helps when one has pple in real life that provide a steady stream of encouragement and support. but those are the lucky ones.

any thoughts?

" I'm usually thinking why are so many people in the world so sad, depressed, lonely, suicidal, being abused, abusing, on drugs, in recovery, in pain, financially wrecked, etc. And why is there always such a stigma with mental health? Also, if so many people are suffering in one way or another, why do I have to come on line to find support? Surely one of my neighbors or friends or family members are also suffering!? But they are probably too proud or ashamed to say anything?!

UGH!! "

" good thoughts, i wonder that as well, and it is very sad.

winter, i always like the posts you make, they are always sound and logical. so no need to worry about that. some of things that come out of everyones mouths, and mine, well sometimes when i phone someone ill stammer around due to the anxiety even with pple i know. then when i hang up im saying, good job, you sounded like a real idiot. writing you get to do something you cant do when speaking...backspace...haha. " lol, typos are like stammers. Thank you for the compliment, ooookfine.

CrzyMom, I wonder the same thing. People are uncomfortable around me cause I ask questions about what they are feeling or thinking. I call it the "meat and potatoes" or "something I can chew on" (seriously, don't know why, no obsession with food here.....i mean, food is good, but anyway....).

I like to know people's motives. Not to see if they are good or bad, but to see where they are coming from, to know who they are. If you know how a person feels, you can respond in helping them or communicate at all even! I wish we did speak honestly about ourselves. Trouble is, there are people out there who look for weaknesses in people to socially pull them down and that's what I mean by destructive. These are the people, I believe, are ruining the world. Where were we? oops, sorry.

Winter "
