I know lots of us have lost or lowered our sex drive due to the meds. Is there 1 med thats worse??
Is there a med to make the drive come back??? Im on: 40mg Celexa 200mg Lamictal 300mg Welbutrin Does anybody know which of these drugs is killing my drive??? Love ya all Cathy Posted on 11/06/09, 12:11 pm |

I don't think it's the Welbutrin. That doesn't have a history of lowering sex drive...at least that is what I am told and what I have experienced on Welbutrin.

Celexa did for me, but not by much. Cipralex (almost exactly the same as Celexa) seems to be much worse for me, especially the 2nd time I've been on it. You have to remember that each medication will affect each person differently and also different in combination with other medications. You may have to try to get your cocktail adjusted through your doctor or just try to deal with it. Hope this helps.

This is a very frustrating part of my meds. I guess my Lexapro is a real killer. But, it's taken so long to find the combination that works for me. My husband says he'd rather have me feeling good than having the frequency of sex we did. He's a great guy! But it is a maddening side effect.

do not allow yourself to believe that its medication killing the drive. If you want it, DO IT.

I don't know what other countries leaflet that comes with meds say, but in the UK it says that many of the meds lower sex drive or the ability to climax.
I've given up having an orgasm but still love sex for the intermacy. I DO try and have done all that is possible for me. As depression and meds are about the mind and sex is 90% mind and 10% action. I'd like my mind back please!
