I bought a few stun guns that have helped me with my night time anxiety. I never leave the house without one! it's like my security blanket.

animal instinct - firstly..... It can also mean that, 'darkness' makes you feel trapped and isolated, suffocated even; something bad is happening that you cannot control....
You see? Put lots of lamps on, watch tv, wrap yourself up in a blanket - and i find it helps to move your furniture into a position where it becomes a little space of your own..... turn the heating on, sip hot chocolate - watch family guy and take a herbal tab.... it does work, i've tried it lol.... make a habit of the furniture thing..... take care

I used to be extremely afraid of the dark. Then I started remembering really bad things that happened to me when I was little in the dark. As soon as I started remembering those things, my fear began to fade. Maybe there is some reason you are afraid of the dark.

I'm not exactly afraid of the dark. I just get anxious for some reason.

Maybe you could take sleeping pills? Are you anxious about anything in particular, like you think something's going to happen?
