Effexor Withdrawal

My effexor xr was bumped last week from 150mg to 225mg. I couldn't tolerate the side effects from the higher dose, so I went back down to 150mg. Now I feel just as crappy. Does anyone have any suggestions to deal with the withdrawal symptons of effexor?

" I was told by my dr. that Effexor is one of the harder drugs to get off. Certainly shouldn't be done as fast as you did it. Tell your dr what happened and how much you cut the dosage. He should be able to help you. Or go to the hospital. "
