" mollie = popular aquarium fish

i must of googled it wrong LOL.
*trys again*

The name Molly is generally used as a nick name for Mary; its origin is from the Gaelic (Irish) version of the name Mary, Maeili which means the expression Wished-for child. Another meaning of the name denoted a companion of a gangster or pirate in the middle ages and hence was not commonly used then.

Today the name is commonly used, probably due to popular American actress Molly Ringwald, more often as a pet name. The variants of the name are Mollie and Moll.

im a companion of a gangster, interesting.
