When will I be better? I've been running my ass off for like two months, been going to gym 6 times a week, no drink, no drugs...haven't cut in God knows when and I feel great. But, and it is a big but, if i stop all this training and stuff will i just slip back into darkness. Therapy is over and I chose not to go on the meds and now I'm a little worried. Am i in denial or just disillusioned about my status or what man.
Everything is going according to plan and everybody is like tottaly psyched with my progress and shit but I'm freaking out that if i just step a little off the line i might just plunge into these shadows again...or can i call it getting better?????

" Wow. sounds like you are doing wonderfully! Great job on that!

What I want to suggest to you, is that you shouldn't fear so much what might happen if you stray from that line a little.

There is no unseen force which will plunge you into a depressed state again. You have the power over your thoughts! You can do work INSDIE your head, as well as outside in the world, or your physical body.

Physical health is great, but you have to maintain positivity in your head as well, or, indeed, you may slip if something alters your routine.

6 days a week is a lot to work out your body....you might need to reduce that to 3 or 4 times a week. If you are merely keeping busy to avoid thinking, that is a problem...because inevitably, something will come along to knock you off your path....you have to be able to deal with things as they come up.

But, in my opinion, you are doing great, feeling good, you can certainly call it improvement. The only thing left is to get your head into better habits, so you can manage when stuff happens.

best of luck, and big {{{{{{hugs}}}}}} "

" It sounds like you have made tremendous progress and you should be very proud. I also have trouble not living in the now, but worrying about what comes next....something we both have to work on, I guess? Daisylou is right...something else always comes up and we have to be able to deal with it, so maybe if we don't sap our energy worrying when things are OK, we'll have more energy to handle it when they're not.

Good luck and keep up the good work! (((HUGS))) "

" Take it one day at a time and perhaps the fear of what may happen will lessen. "
