lately i have been realizing that i am feeling ok. things are going well and what isn't, i can cope with. the only thing that is still a huge stressor really is the constant lack of money and, regardless of how many places my hubby and i apply, not finding a part time job to make more.
given this i decided to start looking at new places to live to see if we could find somewhere to downsize to. i realized something very interesting, given the market crash....rents are cheaper now. i am finding places bigger than what we have now for £100 less than we pay now. so we are seriously looking now and are hoping to have roughly £100 less a month going out! granted it will just go somewhere else but still, woohoo! there is one i am seeing tonight that i am hoping is really nice inside. the pic of the outside is stunning! wish me luck! You are doing the right thing I think. I switched to a cheaper package on my Direct TV. I got a package for $49.95. I had $79.95.
There was nothing on the smaller package but a bunch of radio channels. Everybody showed their tail and I switched back. Tv is the only enjoyment we get. We don't eat out a lot or go to movies. I guess I lost that one. I know these people that let the light company disconnect their lights. (Didn't pay their bill). Now they use a gasoline generator. I don't know how it's working but it's better than nothing.

good for you!! You do what is good for you,..and find the best deal,..I know money is tight for a lot of people now,...
I live alone in an apartment,..and I am thinking about just getting rid of my cable,..it's over 100 bucks a month,.and I never watch TV,..I just can't afford it anymore,..
