" It's gonna take some time and it is going to be hard on you. Just imagine being in their shoes, thinking about what would have happened if you died. I'm sure that they're all pretty nervous right now.

If you OD'd and ended up in the hospital why are you not inpatient right now? You shouldn't be dealing with this without lots of help, a suicide attempt is really serious. I wish you all the best. "

" What did your doctor say about this? Just that you weren't allowed to control your own meds? Didn't it occur to the doc that if you wanted to kill yourself you could do it without meds? Gawd the medical profession pisses me off sometimes. "

" I'm sure you family is just scared and so grateful you are still alive that they are in overdrive to protect you. It will take time for you to feel normal again, and I imagine your family too. I hope you find peace in your life. "

" It will only last a while. Your family got the fright of their lives. Just get through each day, one at a time, and not thinking too far ahead. It's the only way to get through a crisis. "

" Hey, glad you are still alive. Not much you can do about your family watching you and it only means they love and care about you.
Hugs xx "

" My family would always seemingly be very angry, but I think everyone here is correct in saying it is a fear reaction.
Give it time, they now know how you are struggling and need their time to adjust as well. Let them know how they can best help you and maybe they can let you know how they think they can best help you as well.
Give it time and this too shall pass. I know it hurts and it feels like they are pushing you away in a sense but they are adjusting as well. You all need time to cope with what has transpired.
I am in shock though that they did not put you inpatient so you could get the help you obviously need and desire. Hang in there and don't be afraid to reach out if you need more help. "
