" I don't think encouraging this game is a good thing at all goodfella.. it's really fecked me up in the past. It didnt cause my problems but it made my problems worse and created new ones. I still play but finally I'm in control.. this game should be played only in a stable life/ state of mind. "

" yeah, people get addicted, and immersing oneself into a video game is avoidance, rather than therapy....in MHO. "

" sorry goodfella, just giving my perspective on the whole thing, which comes with 3 years of experience. Both meeting some of the horrid cases of people you find on that game, and being one of those addicted myself - I know I would have been doing something else, alcohol, drugs, or another game... but even so - if I was drinking at least i was writing songs ... talking to people, not completely in a different 'world' "

" if you can control the amount of time you play on the game then it is okay to play.
My therapist who works with my pdoc has encouraged me to play some of my games that I like to take stuff of my mind and have time for myself. you can't constantly be working on your therapy, you do need relax/down time and if you like this game than that is what you like to do. "

" just like to make it clear yeh the game can be fun - but blizzard also exploits your wallet making some servers dead, some packed, you have to transfer, then your mates leave, you need to level a new character.. all sorts of complications make it so time consuming.

But yeh, with responsibility you can have fun on it. No shame in your post just gotta be aware I think. "
