My Dr. gave it to me to try and smack my body clock back into place. Holy crap. That stuff acted like a paralytic on me. But, ya gotta stay open-minded. Next time, I cut it in half but the same thing happened. It will make you sleep, no doubt. But I like to be able to walk to the bathroom too.

I've been on seroquel for quite a while. I've never had anyone say I was mean, but I've had problems with drowsiness (even after the affects were supposed to wear off). I agree that it may be a side effect and it will probably diminish after a while. Talk to your doctor about it as well, there may be a better med out there for you. Good luck.

This medication is also perscribed off-label for treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, and as a sedative for those with sleep disorders (insomnia).
