Anyone done this? I think I just did but I'm not sure. It took me ages to get the sense to wake myself up

It wasn't lucid, but one time I woke up(my eyes popped open) up on my back but I couldn't move. I was paralyzed. It freaked me out so bad that I yelled and at first it didn't work. Then the rest of my body woke up and I literally jumped out of bed yelling.
