Anyone done this? I think I just did but I'm not sure. It took me ages to get the sense to wake myself up

" I haven't read the whole thread...
Lucid dreaming is knowing that you are dreaming WHILE you are dreaming, is that correct?

I've had only a few of those...Once in a dream I was telling everyone around me that we were in a dream...and how to wake up from it...I think it had gotten scary or something. I wish it would happen more often...it's kinda cool. "

" I had one last night. I thought it happened to everyone. I was trying desperately to get a scream out but all I could manage were sort of strangled whimpers. I was trying to wake myself up, but when I did it was still there, which was even worse. "

" ytre, that sounds horrible, I use to not be able to sleep for fear I would have a very similar dream, where you are trying to scream for help, but no one is listening to you, and, on the same note, you realize it is a dream and you can't wake up. Scary stuff. "

" I do this too.I love dreaming it can take you places you want to go.It took me awhile to figure out that I had the power to stop something bad in my dream from repeating itself. Now I dont have those dreams.Use to have the nightmares alot. "
