Anyone done this? I think I just did but I'm not sure. It took me ages to get the sense to wake myself up

" I have lucid dreams quite often and even if I don't they are still usually vivid. I've found them to be very helpful and amusing. Sometimes they help me discover new things about troubles I might be having. Sometimes they are just a fun adventure. I rarely have nightmares the same way other people do, because I can be so active in the workings of my dreams. (I had one nightmare where I literally jumped into a different dream and when I was chased kept escaping into new dreams until I could wake up. Rather than being scary it was exhilarating.) My nightmares are when I dream about my worries and can't find a solution. "

" yes...i do this often, & this is with the aid of a sleeping pill!
I sometimes find myself pinching or hitting myself (in the dream) to wake up.
Now, only if these dreams involved johnny depp....Hmm.

" I have done this before and it is really cool. I wish I could do it more often. It happens to me once in a long while. I love the romantic/sexual lucid dreams...lol;)..you know the ones with Johnny Depp or that cute coworker. It is like the hollo-deck(or however you spell it) on Star Trek the next Generation. You can steer the dream in the direction you want it to go if you know what I mean..hee hee. I would like more practice, but I can't control when it happens to me! I hope you have one soon. "

" I once had a lucid dream that I was a huge bird( I had the sensation that I was an Eagle). I was flying above the lake I grew up on. I've never had an ariel view of the area before, but I could pick out people's houses, "there's the Bachmans, the Millers, Dr Burnam, the Perkins ect. ect. as I flew around from pretty high above. Then with total control, I swooped down towords the water fast and glided back up again just flying on the thermals.

I did this a couple of times, then realizing that I was dreaming I said, "DON"T WAKE UP!!!".

That's right, I woke right up. I tried and tried to go back to sleep and do it some more. But no luck,

It was awsome! "
