i was on an emotional roller coaster will webutrin. i stopped taking it and i'm not any better! sometimes i forgot, then i had to take it all in the afternoon, then by 12 am i would be crying my eyes out because of the emotional pain. it was so horrible. if u have any questions i'll be glad to answer them just drop me a message.

It gives me energy and eases depression but I get angry on it and have a shorter fuse. I am probably going to see if I can adjust the dose or type. I have trouble sleeping ojn it as well.

Hi Suzy. I have been on Wellbutrin XL for 8mnths. trying to get it to work with my mood stabilizer. I had absolutely no side effects from it at all. It just didn't do anything for me so last week I took my last dosage and now my bdoc is trying me on Lithium only to see if that will work for me. Hope everything works out for you with this med. i am not really sure how to do this, but i wanted to reply to your side effects. i too have been having some dizziness, flushed face and just feeling mean.. did your side effects finnaly go away? i have only been on the wellbutrin xl for five days now.. not liking the side effects.. please tell me it will stop.. thanks 34 girl

I am on the 300mg dose because the 150 wasn't quite enough for me. The only side effect that I have with it is dry mouth but I have several meds that I take that cause that so I drink a lot of water and am almost always chewing gum. Personally I love being on it, I really think it's the right med for me. I took it years ago and then went back to it last year. It helps me with both my depression and my ADHD.

The only other thing I have noted with it is if I take it to late in the day then I don't sleep well so I always try to take it first thing when I wake up.

I've been on Wellbutrin XL (200mg now, was 300mg till a year ago) for about 3-1/2 years now and have had excellent results with it. Cut way down on smoking and finally quit. No sexual side effects. Works much better for me than any of the SSRIs I've been on over the years. Now, I've taken it with Cymbalta, 60 mg per day. However, my pdoc is planning to have me go off the Cymbalta altogether after the first of the calendar year. I take other psych meds too. Not sure if this helps at all. Namaste, Trish

so the way i understand it any side effects i am experincing from the wellbutrin xl with go away in time.. Yes? or No? i hope so.. Thank you all for your help..

They went away with me, they are back but I also just upped my meds. I think mine lasted 6 weeks or so...they are irritating but not bothersome per se.

Hi I took wellbutrin xl for about a year and it stopped working. It made me sleep instead of help me stay alert. I will be starting Cymbalata tomorrow morning. I am hoping it helps.

When I first started taking wellbutrin XL, I would feel a little sick and alittle dizzy and for the first two weeks I actually felt worse but after awhile it really helped me a lot. I've had serious problems with other meds so sometimes it's all about finding a good match -what are you experiencing?
