I know it might not have anything to do with depression but this is where I know to go for help.

One of my goals this year is to lose weight. I have began eating better and even exercising. I have been looking for a gym. I was wondering if you thank Curves would be a good gym to go to . If not can you please give advice on a good gym.

" Any physical exercise would be benefical. Any gym would work as what you get from it is what you put in it. "

" I've seen the ads on TV, but I don't go to a gym myself. Could use to lose a bit myself. Just no money to join one. "

" i heard its alright, but i'm so much better when i'm working out on my own. hate gyms, totally better with my own routine. even if it means blasting music and dancing for an hour... by the way, thats my suggestion for the best cardio... cause its not like a job, you're just jammin and before you know it the hours up, you're sweaty and outta breath and you feel amazing cause you just listened to the music you love more than anything. just make sure you stick to fast, upbeat songs. house music works best for me. " Crazyfool; You are right, there is no need to go to a gym. It is a waste of money when you can just listen to music and dance at home for your exercise. Good luck on your fitness goals!

nanny: A gym is a great place to go and get a structured work-out supervised by professionals. Well worthy the money you spend. Curves is a chain so they probably are very professional and have good controls in place to make sure you have a good experience. Good luck on your fitness goals! "

" I'm with Crazyfool...I joined Curves myself several years ago....and like with too many things overdid it....ended up doing 6 months PT for a severely strained back lol.....NOT fun...but that aside...I prefer doing my own routine...I love to walk by the river where I live.....put on my headphones and go.....
