Everyone knows about my ongoing pain of being separated from my life long partner, my husband, due to Bipolar. He called me on Sunday (yesterday) and was very depressed. He apologized and said he finally could see clearly that he had blamed me for all the things he did and kept apologizing. He was so confused because he didn't understand what had happened to him for the last 2 years of depression and mania. I just didn't realize he was calling to say goodbye to me. I told him I would always be here for him and help him however he needed. I asked if he needed me to come over and talk in person, but he said no. Shortly after we talked, he shot himself. Now I don't know how to breathe.
