Are better than others. Today my broken body is screaming in pain. Physical pain. Every thing that is wrong with my body seems to want attention today. And even on better days I come back to the same thought:
If i fe
el like this in my 30s how much worse is it going to be as i get older?
It's not a productive thought.

Anyone got an axe? I need to cut my knees off-it would be less painful.

" Oh boy do I know where you are coming from!!!!

I was in a car crash in Feb and since then my knees and my wrist have been nothing but pain, but everyone keeps telling me that there's nothing wrong and to stop taking the pain killers. ummm hello, I don't like taking them!!

I hope that you feel better soon and that your pain grows less as the day passes. Have you tried heat on your knees? It may help

*gentle monkey hugs*

" Pain can totally ruin your day. I couldn't sleep last night because of nerve pain in my left leg and hip and stayed cranky all day. I don't have an axe, but I've got a blunted pair of hedge clippers I just managed to pull out of a tree in my garden. Someone threw them so hard they got stuck four ft up the trunk.

You're right; it's not great thinking about the future, but as your pain changes you could look at different pain-management methods. I'm sorry you're hurting today. "

" There's always hope.

I was in pain from nerve damage so bad the I was on opiods for years. My doctors told me that I would more than likely be that way for the rest of my life, however it did end a few years later for which I thank God every day.

I know its hard, but please try to hang in there. "

" I'm sorry you're hurting so bad, Mene. Are you seeing a pain management specialist? I know my pain doc does wonders for my migraines, and I would like for you to receive the same relief. Many hugs to you, my friend.

" Thank you all for your understanding To answer questions, I meeting with the surgeon on Wed about my knees. I haven't seen a pain management specialist because well, I see the GP for my asthma and Lyme disease, the orthopedist for my knees, the neurologist for the migraines/TBI stuff, and an OB/GYN for the all the female/cancer stuff. Maybe it is time to speak to the GP about some pain management stuff. I love the water/swimming/therapy pool and it usually helps. I just couldn't get to it today. Hopefully tomorrow!

on a side note, lovely to see you Elena "
