I should be off to bed ...have to be up in 6 hours but I just cant get myself to swallow my nightly regime of meds...
I worked it out on average I take just over 400 pills a month and Im getting sooooooo tired of them!
I tried weening off some but nope I go into a tail spin. I was given cymbalta 60s to help with lessening the load (I take 90 so its one less woopty doo)
If I skip them (which Ive done in the past) I live to regret it the following day....
Sorry just REALLY frustrated tonight is all. My sweetie works nights and Im here alone...by the time I get home (on a good day) I get to see her for 15 minutes.

I cant face them tonight....

" My mother has to take a lot of meds as well so she takes them with either pudding, or ice cream. Anything to help her get them down. She tends to choke on pills very easily so that is what works for her. Water just doesn't cut it for her anymore. Have you tried using food to help you get them down? I hope you find something that helps. Some of my pills I just chew and swallow and the rest just down as fast as I can with water. It's so different for all of us. good luck hon. I hope something easy works for you. And I'm sorry you have to be home alone. "

" C'mon, Mr. Rambo. Them meds are for your own good. Much better to take their advantage than to suffer without them.

Please .. MY FRIEND ... take good care of yourself. LOTS of people care about you .. and want you to be as well as possible. "

" I have no problem downing them (comes from years of drinking games LOL) its just tiresome and they nauseate me to no end while they introduce themselves to my system.
I used to also be a bit of a health nut (after the drinking games) and I cant help but wonder what all these narcotics and nsaids are doing to my giblets... "

" Yeah, I just moved. I ran out of the prescription from my old doctor and can't get an appointment with the new doctor until the 21st of next month. I have ran out of 3 of my meds. Can feel myself fish tailing. I hope it does not get worse than this. "

" you need them, so take them mister.
the dr is monitoring all your blood work and so your body ismetabolising them fine. therefore there is no damage being done. once things in life settle down - the divorce goes through, surgery is done etc that is the time to think about weaning youself off, not now "

" I take a LOT of meds too. Some of the pills are the size of the Yellow Submarine. I 've gotten where it just doesn't ' bother me anymore.
It 's not the size of the pills...sometimes the sheer amount is over - whelming. Specially if you don 't feel it 's working.
I have a med I can 't take because I can 't afford it. Plus one I 'd like to try that is WAY too much $. Tho it comes in 90 pill size so would last 3 months.
I also go over my meds with my doc and decide which ones to toss. "

" My eldest, Dan, takes 280 pills and 180 puffs a month, so I sympathise with you. Watching him take them and hearing him talk about how they make him feel makes me want to wave a magic wand to make him all better. But I haven't got one, so in the mean time I'll just send you a gentle hug so you don't barf all your pills up again.

((Hug)) "

" Well, did you get them all down like a good boy??? :-)
I know it's a pain but we love you and don't want to see anything happen to you. Like scared said, the docs are monitoring your innards. They better be.. I make them take tests on me. I won't let the doc forget!!! No Sir "
