My name is Mike and I joined DS in Feb. I haven't been officially diagnosed with depression but have an appt with a counselor this coming week. I have all the signs, and as I've read a lot of your stories here I can really relate. I feel unmotivated to get out of bed most days but own a business so I don't have a choice.

I have a grandchild on the way (my first) in May and I want to get better so I can be a happy grandpa, not this sad sap that I've become lately.

I look forward to getting and giving some support here.

I have to say, since joining this group and posting here yesterday, I've gotten a lot of positive feedback and even made some new friends, so I'm really thankful for that. You've all really made my mood improve, so thank you.

My daughter came over this afternoon and she looks about ready to burst! She's got the biggest, cutest belly I've ever seen. Her due date is May 22nd, but I don't think that little one is going to wait that long. He/she was kicking up a storm in there!
