i use it to sleep. it's worked really well for me, i wake up refreshed w/o any hangover feeling...

I've been on Klonopin for several years. It's the only thing that has helped me with panic and anxiety. I am quite drug resistant. Unfortunately, it is quite addictive. Best to take it only as needed.

What does FIA stand for? For Intolerable Anxiety?

I use it as little as possible but it is the only thing that helps me get a decent night sleep and not feel bad in the morning. I also use it when I fly to lower anxiety levels, but if I use it for a few days in a row, I'll feel down for a day. So now I make sure to take it only when I really need it.

Absolutely excellent for my anxiety. I take 1/4-1/2 of the lowest mg level tablet as to avoid addiction.

" The first benzo I took was Ativan but I started to abuse it. I was supposed to take ONE tab in the morning (I can't remember the mg, it was ages ago), anyway I found myself taking TWELVE tabs one morning I was so anxious, just kept popping them (I was about to re-meet an ex girlfriend :).

So I switched to Clonazepam and have since then always stuck to the correct dosage. Ativan is VERY addictive. I'm sure so is Clonazepam, but I don't abuse it like I did Ativan. "

I've been on it for, jeeze, almost two years now. I find it to be very helpful. No side effects that I've noticed. Very mildly addicting, but withdrawal symptoms just seem to be a very generalized anxiety--nothing physical. I never slept soundly through the night before I started taking this stuff. I'm prescribed 3 mg tabs a day. It is VERY rare that I take my entire dosage.

It didn't work well for my wife...she's on Xanix, but I've had no problems with it.
