Advice:
I struggle with ADD and Depression

Ahhh!

So I am a college student with ADD, and God only knows what other learning disorders I have. It is a day to day struggle for me to get out of bed and go to class. I don't have the hyperactive type of ADD, I have the just completely out of it type of ADD. I don't like going to class because I hear anything and everything that is going on in the classroom.

I have been on almost every ADD, and depression medicine that is known to man kind. I just want to give up and drop out of college every day, but I am not letting that be an option for me. I feel absolutely brain dead after one 50 minute lecture because my brain just can't take any more. I want to find a support group anywhere, either online, or close to where I live but I am having no luck.

Please, anyone, help, write your words of wisdom, anything :(

Thanks
Julia

" Sounds very challenging. I get ADD symptoms and have for years but undiagnosed and never tried meds for it. I somehow forced myself to take a million notes in class and when I had my attention capabilities I could retain much information. I managed to work all my adult life with it until 3 years ago when I had to stop working due to physical disabilities. One thing that is amazing to me is how much diet and supplements help with physical and mental ailments. I put myself on a super health diet and started taking vitamins, minerals and herbs in order to survive all the bodily pain and I see more differences in my mental and emotional state from this. Hey, my dad was from Lexington and I lived there as a child and have visited for years all my many relatives. Very pretty area and I love the horse farms and the Kentucky Horse Park. : )
