Well today is the day..... I go into my Doctors in about an hour. I already used Mapquest and will write down the directions. I have been there about 7 times but only have driven myself twice.
I asked my girlfriend if she would go with me. She laughed....I mean really laughed. She said I was smart and sharp and did not have dementia. Her Dad has it but he is in his 80s.. I backed down right away....after all why talk someone into believing something so very personal. I am going by myself. It is scarey....but as I think over and over about it....well I at least want it ruled out. I am looking at this apt. as my "winterizing"....getting meds checked...maybe a liver panel...and I am going to ask the Doc to help me figure this all out. My son also feels I am overreacting although he mentioned Dementia to me over a year ago. I don't want to bother him. He has a wife and 3 kids. If I do have it.....well....you all know the progression. Wish me well on my solidary road to knowledge of myself. It's better I go alone...that is how my Higher Power wants it :) I will post when I get home....your my support right now.
