please read my journal and let me know what you think. Am I being silly or what, I didn't realize that activities department took it upon themselves to care for a patient like this UNLESS the patient didnt have any family.

Hi there,
I read your journal, and also your page. I believe that because your mom's boyfriend has power of attorney over your mom then the Nursing Home does not have to consult with yourself. He is the one who is in charge of all her finances, so if they think she needs something they have to go through him in order to purchase it for her. Hope this helped somewhat! Siobhan.
