Experiences with botox injections into neck?

I have cervical DDD. A new neurologist I'm seeing spoke about getting botox injected in my neck to alleviate the pain. Any experiences with this? (I sought him out b/c of his interest in migraines and using botox, but am not getting the botox for my forehead, b/c meds are helping the migraines).

I have had Botox in combination swith steroid injections in my jaw and along my neck. They helped somewhat. I ended up having a total jaw replacement three years ago, and still go teh Botox and steroid injections to help alleviate the pain from scar tissue and nerve damage and it does help me. Good luck, I hope it helps!
